FoxRun Golf Association 2010

 is a golf club associated with Fox Run Golf Course in Meridianville, AL.  As a member club of the Alabama Golf Association, Fox Run Golf Association (FRGA) encourages conformance to the USGA Rules of Golf, maintains a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the USGA Handicap System, and issues USGA Handicap Indexes to the members. The primary function of this website is to provide information to the members of the golf club.

                              FoxRun Golf Association Tournament
         2-PERSON BEST BALL/ALT SHOT/SCRAMBLE TOURNAMENT
                                     Saturday, July 17, 2010

You must be a FoxRun Golf Association Member to play in this tournament.
 
Registration: Must sign up Prior to Thursday July 15th
                        All Players are responsible for green fees and cart fees 
                              to be paid to the FoxRun Golf Course.
                        Tournament Entry Fee is $5 or Nothing!
                            However, to receive Prizes you must pay the entry fee.

Teams will be drawn by handicap.  The Highest Projected Score using current Handicaps will be paired with the Lowest Projected Score.  Remaining Players will be paired alternating from High to Low.

Team assignments will be made by the tournament committee on Friday July 16th.

Format: 2 Person Team Play - No Mulligans
    Holes  1-  6 -- Best Ball -- Lowest Team Score for one ball
    Holes  7-12 -- Alternate Shot -- Both Players tee off at Hole #7 --
                            One ball is chosen -- Then,
                            Shots alternate using only one ball through Hole #12
    Holes 13-18-- Scramble -- Both Players hit from the best ball location.

Tee Times: 8:00am -- Be at the golf course early.  Sign in at Scorer's Table between 7:00am--7:30am on the day of the tournament.

Entry Forms are at the clubhouse front desk.

After the Tournament:
                Lunch and Awards will be provided!
                (Please sign up early so we can get a head count.)
